We've raced at Bayford a few times and agree it's a well run club with a great ethos. Maybe the future there will have to lay with IKR? At least it's an option that may help control costs. I certainly don't have any sort of axe to grind with MSUK but can you imagine The FA taking the same stance with grass roots football? I must admit, when I first heard about the changes from the MSA to MSUK and the establishment of the British Karting Championship I took a look at the personnel involved in the new look governing body - nearly all from PFi. It doesn't get much more elitist than that. Now that is akin to the Premier League sizing control of The FA. The same fate would probably befall football. At least football has McDonalds putting in large sums at grass roots level. Karting has no such benefactor.
