You can't blame one man, after all, he is a business man who will look after his interests first and has probably done more for karting than any other venue.
At least he SAID SOMETHING and wasn't afraid to say it.
He nearly walked away from 'governed'karting' over a stupid kerb and probably should have done.
You all know where the problem starts and ends.
Remember there was a meeting between the two major detractors and there was NO DRIVER REPRESENTATIVE at that meeting so you're still a second or third thought.
An announcement that a statement would be released within 6-8 weeks has resulted in silence, but then we didn't really think it would be any different, did we?
IKR clubs are not going to want to join any organisation that says they have to run under the same old rules.
That's the bloody reason they left in the first place!!!!!!
If they think they will wheedle themselves back into the successful IKR scene then I think disappointment is predicted.
I thought it was a bit rich of Paul to think that they could try and hustle drivers at IKR meetings to 'sign up on the day' for an MSA license.
As he said, there are probably as many karters as ever, there just aren't the same number of licence holders.
