Confused by this! Surely a kart cannot have too much lateral / sideways grip, so presumably we are talking about torsional/ traction grip where the inside rear is not unloading/ releasing sufficiently and engine torque is being absorbed as the axle tries to twist to accommodate the different rotational speeds of inner and outer wheels.

Just what is it about the P1 or BRK which supposedly makes them unable to cope as well as other karts?
I could suggest insufficient caster or wheel offset,lack of torsional stiffness in the chassis,too wide a kart, too low a C of G and maybe other factors, but the effect of these would surely be even more noticeable in low grip, cold, wet conditions?

Or is the suggestion that the tyre compound behaves more like Bostik when things get warmer and the actual rolling resistance of the tyre increases with temperature as each segment of the tyre, sticks to and is then pulled away from, the track surface as the wheel rotates?
