On a wet track the fastest racing line can change all the time, there is no single correct line to take because your kart set-up also plays a big deciding factor. If you put a larger sprocket on then you would take a different line than a set-up that aims for a higher top speed on the straight.

I did some wet weather testing and found I learnt the most about the track on tyres that were virtually bald. Send him out there on bald tyres on an empty practise day (not hard when it's raining) and just tell him to have fun. Jenson Button always put his good wet weather driving down to his dad not being able to give him a new set of wet tyres.
