I heard that Llandow had 17 entries across all classes.

Is it so difficult to give 'the customer' what they want?

If you can't, then I don't see the point of running an event.

PFI, Whilton and Kimbolton within our catchment area are obviously doing something right but it has meant that karting has become very localised.

Clubs or tracks that are strugggling need to cater for a broader clientelle and try and pick up the waifs and strays to boost their IKR.

To attract these stray karters the price needs to be attractive. Otherwise they will just continue to do practice days.

Better to have two drivers at £50.00 than none at £65,00.

The one day race meeting is attractive but if they only get 3/4 of a day and a reduced heat tally, that again is off putting.

The driver starting off in IKR will probably have a few problems and if there are only two heats it leaves them little chance of recovering from their problems.

Four heats and a final, especially if there are limited classes to run, is much more attractive.

At least a simplified rule book will be more attractive with all problems dealt with on the day.

I wonder how many MSA licences were issued for 2017?

The promised simplification seems to have resulted in even more legislation and the Floppo Droppo bumper has descended into a complete farce.

And all because they couldn't control the problem or couldn't be bothered.
