I thought the 475ml fill was a Teesside thing due to the 180 degree flat out South Bank corner. Strangely enough, I know a lot of the grid at Tee use less (one spotty oik I told to use 475ml thought I was giving him duff info to make him go slower and a meeting later had killed an engine by filling with less).

I use the three meeting rule for oil changes too which recently has been once a year due to date clashes! Obviously the enduro lads leave the oil in for much longer (24hr races) and those engines just keep on going.
