We've just gone up from Iame to cadet to JTKM and whilst I've already done a couple of carb rebuilds (which seem to work) I'm still getting used to the subtle (or not) differences, looking for any pointers!

I'll go through the points in turn:

Tools, tilletson was easy, the right Torx bit got you in, a smallish flat blade and a skinny socket, did the rest. On the walbro I'm yet to find a screwdriver that really feels solid on the main screws, I'm guess I need the right size/s Phillip's, most of mine are pozi. Is this correct?

Pop off. On the tilletson, we set the lever so it was very very slightly above flush and then adjusted springs to move pop off. All the advice I've read about the walbro is about adjusting the lever, is this correct or do you use a mix of both?

Testing pop off, due to the above there seems little point trying to test pop off before full assembly (is it even possible). On the tilletson it was easier to test whilst still open, am I missing something?

Thanks in advance
