We have used a 19T clutch at quite a few tracks, Rowrah, Larkhall and we have even used one at PFI and Hooton park.
If you think about it if you using a clutch with only 19 teeth and then the rear sprocket will have less teeth than if you were using a 20T clutch. Less teeth means less friction on the sprockets and the chain. The chain will also be shorter, so also lighter! So if like us, you are struggling with weight.....every gram we can get off the kart the better!
