totally agree.......it will inevitably get touched over time.......I think the situation can be rectified with an inverted box type heat shield with just the exit pipe showing, much like the original honda exhaust......sure it will be an tough update to release and people will complain, but on the other side of the coin, I'm sure its only a matter of time before I get badly burned, or I end up having to pay for a new set of overalls......so I'd be happy to pay for an improved design of fully covering heat-shield.....COUGH COUGH HINT HINT MSA!!!!!!.......also there are cheaper alternatives to carbon, which are durable.
