Sorry chaps, but I'd omitted the wording of Technical Drawing (TD) No.2C which states ...
"It must be possible for the front fairing to move freely back in the direction of the chassis without any obstruction from any part that may restrict movement"

May be splitting hairs but there is a gulf of interpretation as to the scope of what "move freely back in the direction" means.

I suggest the TD needs to be revised to define an additional zone (C) which is the ~ 56mm high cusp for the drooped position, and the wordage to state "move freely back into Zone C".
