The mounting for the early silver rad is different to the black rad. There is a rad mounting plate fixed to the side of the silver rad, this then fixes to a nut spacer between the plate and the top of the reed block housing, there is a hole that passes through the reed block housing. An M8 bolt goes through this and then the nut spacer and the rad mounting plate fixed to the other end of the nut spacer. The rad hoses are different but you can mix them. If you go on the JAG website you can download a full workshop manual, page 187 and 188 of the pdf file details the silver rad mounting.
