I've known a number of people go for Jades on their reputation of going well for smaller drivers. There's certain smaller driver doing very well on the Tal-Ko chassis in their works team. You'll find by far the most second-hand spares for the OTK (Tony Kart) chassis. The Viper is the TKM-specific model but lots of people go with the more mainstream chassis (EVR, EVRR, EVK) and then choose either to leave the front bar out or weld it in. The Venom is very old, I'd try for something newer if you wanted to go down the OTK route had the budget.

As for setup, I've only ever run OTK and found it relatively simple to set a baseline.
