If it was a seal, it would usually run lean not rich.

What's it like with the airbox off?

You can rule out switches, reeds, seals, crank sensor, battery, plug and coil.

You did put a main jet in? it will run ok without one as the needle controls delivery up to 3/4 throttle then it'll run absolutely crap.

It sounds like a carb issue.

Nigel at Llandow would sort it in minutes if you could get it to him.
