There is no advantage from using the S1 fuel as it is not some `special' fuel. The extra cost compared to pump prices is because of the testing procedures at S1 and the need to add some trace element for that testing.

Teams will use up any spare fuel from a S1 meeting for testing or club meetings as they will want a fresh batch for the next S1 round.
