Does it fit into the cover without binding?

There's no point in buying a new clutch shoe if it's not the fault unless you're flush with money.

If it had been 'spread' it wouldn't fit into the cover.

Have you removed the o ring and tried it?

Does it free off if you slacken the clutch nut?

Don't waste any money yet.
