It's as reliable and competitive as you get. Look after it and it will look after you, we have ran X30 for 5 years now. Our European engine we have never rebuilt and it only seriously slowed after 20 hours use. I had my UK X30 engine rebuilt at the start of the year for the LGM, It has had a ring halfway through and that is it. Currently sitting on 9 1/2 hours. I don't plan on it being any slower or getting rebuilt for the last 2 LGM rounds I'm doing. It will do both the Sat and Sun. I've only had the 1 engine all year, that is how confident I've been.

Reliability wise in all those years we had 1 starter failure at the beginning on the European motor and the same at the beginning for the UK motor. When you get one just fix it and it will be fine. With people having all these issues I can only think they just don't look after it and/or push it too far. I have had no plug/exhaust/electric/ignition/seize problems at all.
