At the end of the day you will never have parity in engines when they are built in batches and over a period of years.
Machining tools change and so do the people making them in which you naturally get a change in tolerance.
In time you WILL get the monsters in X30 and the big teams will own them as they command the large budgets to buy them.
Any engine can be seized easily, even the rotax when under jetted.
The X30 and rotax have the same starter faults because they are the same starter which is a aprilia scooter starter and scooters don't do 14k+ and not subject to the same vibrations so what do you expect!!
Also a piston every 5 hours, wow what a bummer, you have to pay less than the cost for a rotax piston and ring and you can replace them when ever you want for nothing and that's if you have to be at the front of the leading pack.
