Hi Bob.

Yes, you can help them by giving (almost) ideal 'settings' but.....

My concern is something that I have seen happen innumerable times. If they follow the 'use these settings' approach, many of them can fail *ever* to get to grips what the chassis is doing and how to change it to get what they want.

I am sure we have both met loads of drivers who (for example) have no idea what **actually** happens to the handling if they narrow the rear axle or change the ride height. Yes, your approach is quicker but mine encourages them to understand and to learn.
