Also dont forget as I have threaded before the 20p brown fuse in the little square box with the cable tie around lots of people have never looked inside £40 !!! to fix non starting engine at a meeting, now that is a Karting /car dealer type rip off we dont need. .
The X30 is a cracking piece of kit they have massive grids of them in the States and the rest of the world for over 10 yrs now as it replaced the "Leopard".
As IAME only make engines they have to out source ignitions and starters so until their quality control finds out about issues they just dont know.I was told there was "No Warranty" on Selettra ignitions by an Importer on IAME Lynx , on speaking to IAME and Selletra found this was not correct dealer should have replaced them, up to 6 mths warranty in UK from date of purchase (BY HIM !! not me ).
They address things very quickly, take the cadet engine introduced 3 yrs ago in Uk,we saw one in Malta 3 yrs previous but it had a starter,The MSA said to keep costs down to their price structure meant removing the starter. It was all a last minute decision as the repalcement to the Comer and IAME had to design a pull start by January after getting the contract in OCT I believe it was. There were problems at first all addressed not heard anything now for ages.
They are making in roads here in Snr and Jnr Max and currently testing a mini max equivalent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
