Iv been at FKS for 4 days.

From a driver and parents point of view it's a really great concept for the under 18's.
Equal equipment (and it is equal with the iame product)
I was lucky enough to witness first hand a cadet driver who with the greatest respect hasn't got the same level of equipment to compete normally with the top boys actually race in the top 4 at points over the weekend!
His dad worked so so hard to get his son there and for him seeing that was all worth it.

The junior x30 racing was also savagely good! The motors were spot on (luckily we are used to that in x30 anyway) but on the same chassis it was really interesting seeing how some drivers adapted and others struggled a bit more but got there in the final.

The FKS staff were friendly and nice, and the whole logistical setup must of cost a fortune!

For those wanting a career in Motorsport, all the interviews etc were brilliant for the kids, and even the adults (I'm not good with a microphone in my face but I'm sure I will improve as the year goes on).

I'd go as far as to say although grids we're only a few off of junior max and mini max at s1 (you can say they are small, but x30 lgm was small last year too. But once people realise what you get, the I know it will improve.)

Don't get me wrong I'd like to see a few tweeks and I'm sure they will happen. But even if f1 is not your aim, the whole experience and setup is really good. Track time is long, and don't forget it's not your equipment your wearing out.

As for no names doing it..... I heard this about lgm (Litchfield Kierle, hodgson) so I ignore them comments as Usally people mean their name isn't in it.
People like Tom Wood, Ethan Hawkey and Dean MacDonald really impressed me as did Jac Maybin. So you may not have heard of them....... But I'm sure you will know a bit more about them soon.

Overall great weekend and I'm now really looking forward to silverstone in the first weekend in June.
Iv met people I wouldn't normal have much to do with, aso we're in different classes but this brings tkm, Rotax, x30 together nicely.... Plus I'm sure a few Rotax boys now know what the fuss is all about.

O yes one more thing I'm now looking at getting a uni pro data logger on the back of this series. Fantastic bit of kit I thought.

Carolynn, Seb, and the whole FKS team should be proud of what you have put together.
Alpha timing also must have worked really hard too with the system they have, and it will on,y benefit everyone in the long run.
