Try moving the fronts out to 20mm. Your pressures are close enough.

To be honest, two laps isn't enough time for a fairly new cadet to get much heat into slick tyres. Compared to inters he will have much less grip to begin with, but with more laps and experience he'll find they come on form and his lap times will come down.

Stick with slicks - as the weather warms up you'll be shredding inters after a few laps whereas the slicks will last ages.
