You need to consider the new rye-house cadet series, this is the Non-MSA version and nothing to do with Hoddesdon Kart club, its using pooled engines supplied in a random format, in order to prevent people using SP engines, which is unfortunately rife in clubman cadet racing, as I found out last year, heres the info copy and pasted from the e-mail I received:

The 2015 Cadet champs will be running to schedule.

Rye house are holding a very exciting championship for the Honda cadet class. The championship will be held over 9 rounds from February to October. 8 of the rounds will count to the overall championship score allowing each driver to miss a round or drop their worst score. The rounds will be run on a Saturday (dates below) from 8am to 10am. Each round will Cost £99 with a deposit of £297 payable up front and the balance due in March.

Format

8:00 - 8:45 Testing
8:00 - 8:45 Scrutineering
9:00 - 9:10 Heat 1 (Random grid)
9:20 - 9:30 Heat 2 (Random grid)
9:40 - 9:55 Final (Grid from points awarded from Heat 1 and 2)

We require all drivers to sign in between 7:15 - 7:45 where each driver will draw a number and be allocated an engine to run for the event. The engine will be given to the entrant but the entrant will be responsible for fitting engine mounts, clutch, chain guard brackets and fuel filter. Each entrant will also be issued with a “raceceiver”, this is a device that will be fitted to the driver and will allow the race director to communicate with the driver while they are on track in the kart. It does not allow the driver to communicate back with the race director. This system will be used to inform the driver of any potential issues on track during the race and also if the driver is required to pit at any point.

The benefits of this championship are that you don’t need to be travelling up and down the country to race, engines being pooled means that races will be won and lost on driver ability and kart set up as opposed to expensive selected parts engines. The introduction of the “raceceiver” will add a whole new dimension to the racing giving the driver continuous information and feedback.

That’s £99 for testing, race entry, engine & raceceiver!!!
