Hi Philip,
yes, of course the usual application of the copper mallet to align the flywheels!
Thanks "dynamax", we do use a starter on the crank, but not a "stop" in the head: have the tools to lock the crank direct on the side being worked on. Alternate between DD and clutch depending on track conditions and my back! Must be due to the other reasons you suggest, thanks again for the advise.
