Hi, we have a clutched and DD engine. Using starter for the DD is the same as for the clutched engine as Liam says, you just need a hole in the side pod that lines up approximately with the sprocket nut (17mm). I used to use the strap method back in the 1980's. If you choose this method be very careful. Do not wrap the strap or rope around your hand as, if it grabs the tyre when it starts the result would be catastrophic.
