Well considering we have been in a recession triggered by the debt left by the last 'government?', you would expect entries to start to rise back up anyway and if you apply analytical mathematics to the 1018 figure they quote, it ain't nowhere near worth crowing about.
You will of course note that they failed to mention the fact that licence holder numbers hadn't improved, just entries, sort of gives the game away really.

Prices and wages have been capped everywhere, so to say that they have 'sportingly' held licence fees for 2015 is a bit rich considering they easily absorbed that cost with the parent/guardian licence fee money they striped you for.
Just to balance things and give praise where it's due, I must congratulate them on the news that they will appoint a dedicated spectator Marshall to rally events to try and avoid a repeat of the Jim Clarke Rally deaths and accidents, they do listen sometimes, albeit a bit late for some.
