In order to clarify a number of rumours especially in the North West I feel a number of issues now need addressing.
DT-Motorsport is my HOBBIE'S title,and has been for over 50 yrs, I choose not to drink or smoke through serious medical conditions hence with many contacts throughout the world I was/am able to participate in everything form of Motorsport I want/wanted to, sort of a wish list but still here !!!.
During this time I have helped hundreds of people into Motorsport, also during this time I have bought and sold Motorsort equipment..fortuanately for me I have kept records.
1/ A recent 13 month HMRC tax investigation into my personal and HOBBY tax affairs has led to me being totally exonerated and in fact an ex gratia payment from them (Hardly ever happens) has been received.
So to the person / persons who anonomously contacted HMRC about myself and DT-Motorsport,many thanks,However i do now know who it was under the Freedom of Information Act as I was cleared,they are so lucky I am currently not suing them although it is under consideration..
2/ A VOSA and Police check into my past and current vehicles has also found they are /have always been MOT'd / taxed/and insured, as also was my 7.5 ton race truck including 6 weeks maintenance checks,digital and analogue tacho records,restricted operators licence,rsponsible transport manager,and insured for goods (not a dodgy not for hire or reward sticker) or when stopped "its all MY race gear",oh and also I had PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE cover in place also as an HGV licence holder was able to tow a trailer over 15cwt..
3/ Never have I sold stolen,dealt in or handled stolen gear,or sold any dubious wrong spec/not correct previous history,non compliant gear unlike some people , or even when selling on behalf of others not paying them out,all have been paid their dues,and I am not still owing people their money after 2 years or lost their gear.
4/ I have NO involvment with any other motorsport/kart related "motorsport businesses" in the Uk.
5/As to date I only owe Zip North £1.20 for 2 axle circlips.
6/ If anyone wishes to know about me please do not go around asking every Tommy ,Dick heads,or Hairies,this is how Chinese whispers start,have the balls to ask me face to face, e-mail me, home and dt-motorsport contact details are on Gooogle or call to the house as most people do and chat karting.
If any "customers" have an outstanding issue please speak to me direct,although I do not know of ANY !!
7/ I have for the information of one individual been in Karts for over 50 yrs starting with a Clinton 4 stroke engined kart from the Americans at USAF Burtonwood to Aintree circuit at the age of 8 on Tuesday nights for £1 going on to a Steyr Puch gearbox kart from Ryders Autoservice of Bootle Liverpool at 16 through to twin Rotax Anderson Mirage 250 L/C karts.
Enjoy your karting,to everyone I have helped or can,I am still despite now being "retired"at 66 re- starting dt-motorsport and look forward to seeing you all as 13 months out has been hell.

P.S. Yes it is true,I am involved with a group of "businesss" men who are looking for a current kart indoor/outdoor /corporate or MSA track to invest in or buy,or are interested in possibly starting up a NEW track as there is currently NO kart track in CHESHIRE and are looking for suitable locations..
