I know, it was just a tongue in cheek comment, no offence intended. I know the local area VERY well and do appreciate the local concerns - it is an interesting process working the way through planning applications to try and please both sides of the fence - perhaps it may have merit to invite some of the objectors along to a similar venue to see how a professional track is run - as a karter i would gladly take someone along to allow them what may be perhaps an interesting birds eye view from the perspective of a karter - who does in fact take great care to abide by local rules and wishes such as track approach route and careful considerate { and often grateful } use of local ameneties. I dont think i would be alone in that offer, too often motorsport in general is viewed by non participants as noisy and environmentally irresponsible when quite often the opposite is true.
