To each their own Alan - if some are happy with it, then fair enough. Maybe I expect too much from it based on the short period of time you have to work with which I appreciate makes it very tricky. It's just I compare what you produce to what I have seen from other events like Club100 and Easykart by Chris Simpson, and it just seems to flow so much better. BUT I accept he is not held back by time slots etc like you are with the broadcast programs. I expect you could work miracles with an extra 30 mins run time! I wish they gave you more time, not like there is much else on Motors TV ;)
I did notice you took on board what I said about the "later in the race" bit (even though you didn't have to!), and you really have improved that - the race flows much better now, and was a great idea the way you did it.
As for commentary, for sure it is an opinions based business you are in, so I get what you are saying - I guess as you are much more accessible to us/me, it is easy to call you out on things I disagree with. I'm sure I disagree with a lot of things Brundle says, in the same way a lot of football fans disliked some of the WC commentary this summer, I just can't complain at them ;)
Also - my comments were about the broadcast show - I have watched the YouTube clips now and it looks much better - I didn't think it would make a difference, but amazing what an improvement in picture quality does for the watchability of something!
