I measured the valve clearances on our T2 the other day, the exhaust was 6 thou, and the inlet was 7 thou, god knows if this is good of bad, after the last rebuild about 12 hours use ago, it measured 7.5hp on UFO's dyno, I change oil every 2-3 hours......its a very solid T2 clubman engine which give an SP engine a run for its money........ as a guide a very good SP is in the region of 7.8-7.9hp on UFO's dyno, so i'm told, but really the best Honda engines have stonking mid-range performance, not necessarily the best top end power, so the average power is more important.
