Anyone considering X30 should try one out and judge for themselves after that.
A few of us moved over at the start of the year and the grids have been gradually growing since, almost entirely from people who have tried them and can't face going back to rotax. I'm not sure about other clubs but Kimbolton has been growing gradually and we now have about 10. Last month was strange as most of us went to splash around in wales, which was almost entirely Banzai's fault. Actually it was awesome though and the times were all close between all sorts of different drivers.
Power delivery is smooth, weight distribution is better, engines are very well made, and being able to change the jetting on the way round is handy.
Also driving standards at the moment are very good and seems to be slightly more self policing than Rotax. Time will tell on that one though..

You also find that because the engines are nice to work on, you get people staying at the track later and talking about the day, whereas with Rotax my experience was that everyone just wanted to get out of there.

They need 2.5 hours on them from new to properly loosen up so just make sure you get a bit of time on it before racing!

If you want to try one speak to Simon at PPR
