the different rims are for different temperatures

testing at only one day temperature mid way between where the benefits of each are to be had isnt going to tell you much

try both on very hot days and very cold (and wet) days

the uk ambient day temp doesnt vary much compared to the rest of the world

yes, karting is a worldwide activity
