I was in the same position as you a few years back. I tested an XR50 and loved it. I live in Kent and at the time Buckmore and Bayford wouldn't allow them but that may have changed. The only race series was the national non-MSA series which came to Lydd once and all the others were a trek. I tried to persuade F6 to let me race one in their Senior Open class but that was a no-goer at the time as they run under the MSA and only the 50bhp XR50 was available at the time. That has all changed now with the introduction of the 30bhp XR30 and F6 now welcome them. I'd consider that option if you fancy racing at Blackbushe, Bayford, Whilton Mill, Buckmore, Clay Pigeon & Lydd. If you ring Richard on 07875 491997 he will hire you an XR30 for a round of F6.
