Having a play soon at an indoor track at a team endurance. The three of us that are driving have done 2/3 over the last 2 years.

How would you run the drivers?

It is a 90 minute race, with Quali initially. Hopefully we will be near the font.

We are considering two main options at the moment.

2nd fastests (and lightest first), Followed by slowest and heavy driver, with fastest driver last.

The idea being that the lighter driver will have advantage on standing start and hopefully pull out a lead, then run the slower driver, he will get a kart with warmer tyres which should assist him on, and then a final push with the fastest at the end, hopefully when the kart and track are at their fastest and everyone has settle down a bit and we can get on.

2nd option is going from Slowest to fastest. The thought behind this is that the heavier driver, although (as he will admit) is less skill his weight might help when tyres are colder and less grippy and hopefully he can just act as a bit of a road block for his stint, then we open up the taps and climb up the leaderboard.

Just curious - What Would You Do?
