Also on any kart don't allow the pads to sit too close to the disc, as people try to set it this way thinking the reaction time will be less when the brake is applied by shimming or setting up a tight pad to disc gap, but as the chassis and axle flexes in cornering if the pad to disc gap is too tight partial braking will occur, but will never be seen with the kart on the trolley.
