It's not a calculation.... I expressed that badly in that previous posting. It was how to measure your actual weight distribution and a VERY rough guide o0n the correct placing. For years, most people have suggested that the ideal weight distribution (front : rear) between 45%:55% and 40%:60%. Generally weight should be moved forward when the track is wet.

The description explains how to place your seat to give you those weight distributions.

I'll post 'how to mount the seat' like that, if you want.

Let me stress, this is JUST my opinion but it's been gained from long experience.
