Don`t run your plug gaps too large, it causes spark tracking at the weakest resitance points, start the engines up in the dark and spray some moisture near the plug cap, you will prob see tracking between the cap and rocker cover, smear some silicon sealer on the plug cap rubbers to prevent any moisture getting in, the k+n filters are a good change also.
