The next couple of months are going to be very interesting to watch. When the engines are no longer available from Roger to use on the day for free (e.g Warden Law in March):
1) Will the returning champions be racing there then? (e.g. ADZ did one event at PFI and I suspect won't be seen on a circuit regularly again; hope I'm wrong on that though)
2) Will those who trial the free engines revert back to their GX160s?
If those that borrow engines from Roger on Sunday then subsequently buy a pair, then the GX200s do pose a real threat to GX160s and I will seriously need to consider jumping on the Extreme bandwagon.
Roger has been very clever with this business plan, using an engine that is going to give more driver enjoyment (why wouldn't you want more power!). If he had just sealed up his standard GX160s and controlled them to a specific torque curve range, I suspect the take up would have been different to what is published by others above.
Time will tell, and I suspect very soon!
