the other way to look at it is that in other types of motorsport the closing speed is much greater. at oulton park for instance we have a lot of sports and saloon races which have 30 cars on the grid ranging from radicals and dtm cars down to fiestas and saxo's!.....not once have i seen an incident when leaders are overtaking backmarkers....karters just need to learn to use their brains!!!!...yes some are young and inexperienced, but most of the time therye just stubborn and arrogant and dont know how to drive properly with their brains!
