Personally, I was not questioning Mr Harrison as an individual - how could I as I've never met him.
The point I was trying to make is if you post a thread like this then someone can 'jump' in and make comments that could be misconstrued or lead to unnecessary comments or reflect unfairly on an individual.
Example. My son has done S1 for the last 3 years and karting for 4 years. In that time we've been in to see the CoC on 3 occasions, collected 4 points for overtaking on a yellow and generally kept our nose clean. And that's not by poddling around at the back out of harm's way but with 2 seeded numbers and hopefully another to come this year.
If on an occasion James caused an incident whether it was 'accidental' or through careless driving and it got photographed and was then posted on the UK's major site with a heading that could, I stress could, imply that we were at fault AND then someone later on links that and makes a comment then I WOULD BE VERY UPSET AND ANGRY to put it mildly.
So going back to NickyW and the point about the incident has come and gone so let it be - is the point I was trying to make; maybe badly but that was all.
And as you quite rightly point out as did I before you, we do live in a democracy so we may agree to disagree but I respect your view.
I'll leave this thread now but ps - still waiting to find out the venues for 2009 S1
