I asked this weeks ago when they published the 'provisional dates' and made the point why not wait until the venues had been agreed. If the dates have been set then surely the clubs must have been approached!
Someone did say to me that maybe they've set the dates to get them in the diary and then will go about working out which tracks. Except that doesn't make sense because if the clubs turn round and say 'can't do that weekend' then you're back to square 1.
It's no wonder S1 gets bashed as much as it does. Stars have their dates AND circuits published and announced an international 3 round event.
I'm just hoping it's gone quiet because S1 is finalising the details to a new format that makes it more exciting, allows teams to get to and from the tracks in better time (e.g. starting heats on a Saturday means you finish on time or early so the long trip to Clay or Larkhall is made easier)etc and wants to present it at the same time.
If we know where th o plate is going to be then why can't we be told where S1 will be. After all, it is the 'UK's premier championship...'
