Anything that could boost power is likely to be highly dangerous in it's own right. Many of these properties already exist in fuel (the reason why they make it smell & taste so awful you don't want to drink it and yes they add that on purpose).

A friend of mine's business was 'Solvents with Safety' and he believed that if petrol was invented today it would never be approved for use, so you can imagine adding some of these dangerous substances to your existing fuel is far from advisable.
