I too am no particular fan of LH, but feel that he was dealt with unjustly. The problem is that no consideration was given to the fact that KR was responsible for forcing LH off the track. Had KR left him room, and he had still taken the short cut, then all that followed would have been fair enough. Since it was the second time that KR tried to force somebody off, he should have been penalised in the next race. You describe it as "one small incident" and so it was - until the Stewards intervened. The fact that they deemed it necessary to subsequently issue a rule "clarification" (actually a change), stipulating that a driver isn't allowed to repass until after the next corner, proves that LH did not break the current rule!
