The alloy tank was purely to be different when we started karting. We couldnt get near the front but had the best looking kart bringing up the rear. When we went to genk i took a fridge with me and filled it half with beer and half with fuel. I think cold fuel did make a difference to performance or I could have just imagined it after too many cold beers. We did manage the fastest time of the weekend though so must have got something right
