Well I wouldn't expect ATOL to provide the impartial answer and it would be unfair to ask them to.

I'm assuming that whoever contracted ATOL in the first place did back to back tests of karts using different pump fuel to assess the difference and judged it significantly inconsistent to warrant the imposition of control fuel ? Or did they ?

The reason I'm raising this is that I've yet to meet somebody who has noticed a perceptible difference in performance that can be attributed to variations in pump fuel... and the other thread seems to reinforce that.

Again, I'm not talking about using additives or methanol [yes I once competed against a cheat using that !] or anything else. Just pump fuel.
