Having cold fuel, in theory, may provide some (tiny?) performance benefit for something like F1 but I can’t see how it could possibly be worth the hassle for a cadet kart! By the time the fuel goes in the tank, the kart gets to the dummy grid, waits around, goes through the pipe to the carb, sits in the carb, then turns into a tiny mist in the venturi then it isn’t going to affect the intake temp one iota.

I wouldn’t waste time on this, and in any case if people started doing this I’m sure it would get banned as a practice anyway
