Yes - take just the S1 costs. Travel was for 10k miles and covered S1, Stars and club meetings. Really need to do a check using something like www.multimap.co.uk to see what the distances will be from wherever the family live. For S1 we do not have tracks for 2009 yet (unless they have now been posted). The engine rebuilds allow for 3 at Ł250 roughly. Doing just S1 you may not need anything but realistically you are going to do some club racing as well.
Like evrything this can only be a starting point guide. Some people will buy extra rims to allow for different grip levels or to leave tyres on rims when they are sealed. I have seen people with carbon fibre floor trays at certain tracks.
At the end of the day there is probably not much of an upper limit to what can be spent if the pocket is deep enough.
