the tyres are put into a plastic bag that is heat sealed - you can then use the same tyres for the nest round unless the bag has been damaged to let air in.
The justification for Ł4.20 per litre fuel is that Atol put a tracer dye in and are at the track to do fuel tests that can prove it is their fuel and has not been tampered with - octane enhancers etc.
If you do Stars and S1 then your basic costs are as per my first reply. You also have to add in your normal club meetings and attending meetings at clubs where the championship round will be held as you will need time in the seat.
Overall I would say that Ł20k would be a minimum budget for the year doing both championships and the supporting club racing but if your equipment is not up to championship standard you could easily add Ł10k.
