oh yeah, totally agree, it was thrilling to watch, and always great to see the establishment rocked. But it seems in F1 that you are only as good as your last race, and the likes of Alonso, Button, Hamilton, Vettel are all previous champions, and already got the T-shirt......so to speak......Max has a way to go yet.
There is also the small anal point that the RedBull chassis is a seriously high down-force piece of kit.....so in the wet I would expect it to go like the clappers, but you could then argue that Riccardo didnt do much with it, so Verstappen going off-line and finding the grippy bits was a job well done.
I did the same in Lanzarote 2 weeks ago, I made that corporate kart fly in the wet by going off line and finding the grip!!!...... only 3 seconds off my dry time B-).....and I was wearing flip-flops......dont you just love finding Europes biggest CIK approved 2.2km kart track is only 5 minutes away from your hotel, what a find B-)
