Bored now, so lets let the results do the talking. So far this year Lewis is 7-3 up on JB in qually, proving that on a single lap and at swtiching on the new Pirelli tyres, he is faster.
Lewis also holds a 5-3 lead in race positions (when both drivers have finished the race). Personally having watched JB reeling in Webber and Hamilton at Silverstone it would be very close who would have come out on top then, so it could have been 5-4 or 6-3 depending on how that finished up, and I don't think theres any doubt that Lewis beat JB last weekend regardless of JB retiring.
Interestingly, Button leads Hamilton 5-3 on race fastest laps (in the races they've finished).
Either way, fairly close stats that show that in no way Lewis is blowing away Button. At least not yet anyway.
