Yes you can do all that but the fact is if I'm charging say Ł20 for design work that's because it cost Ł20 in labour. I won't get that time and effort back if the customer walks away.

If the design is sent to us in a print ready format (ie completed with the correct template) then there is no problem with proofing before payment.
